2025 Kia K4 Release Date

2025 Kia K4 Release Date

The completely new 2025 Kia K4 is coming soon to our dealership. While Kia hasn't made an official announcement, it's expected that the K4 will launch in the third quarter of this year. The K4 is replacing the current Forte sedan and it will be positioned under the larger K5 family sedan. The 2025 K4 will have a fastback roofline along with rear fenders that create a sporty appearance. Here are some more details about the new 2025 Kia K4 that's expected to arrive later this year at Kia of Dartmouth in Dartmouth, MA.

Trim levels

The all new Kia K4 will offer Fall River buyers a total of five trim levels: LX, LXS, EX, GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo. The K4 is expected to have a low starting price of around $22,000 and top out at about the $30,000 level. The GT-Line Turbo will have a more sophisticated multi-link rear suspension while all other K4 trims will have a torsion beam configuration.

Engines and performance in the new Kia K4

Reports indicate that most 2025 Kia K4 models will operate with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 147 horsepower, 132 pound-feet of torque and is connected to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Raynham and Bourne MA buyers will be able to upgrade to a more powerful 1.6-liter turbo-four that delivers 190 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque as an available option. That powertrain comes exclusively with the top level GT-Line Turbo trim and has a conventional eight-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior highlights

The new 2025 Kia K4 will come with a dynamic sloping roofline along with wide rear pillars that project a performance-driven profile that's reminiscent of the handsome Kia Stinger. Photos indicate that body panels are contoured in a way that enhances the confident appearance. Overall, the new Kia K4 for 2025 is expected to be the biggest sedan in its class, with a new body that's as wide as some mid-size sedans.

Interior highlights

The cabin of the new K4 will come with a simple, clean design that includes a linear look for the dashboard. There's a large horizontal infotainment display in the center that Taunton and Swansea customers will appreciate. It includes several physical buttons for easier control, something that's refreshing in a world where automakers keep making everything more digital and less user-friendly. The K4's steering wheel has an appearance that's different from other Kia models and features a two-spoke design.

Technology

Kia hasn't yet announced the exact size of the K4's standard infotainment screen but reports indicate that upper trims will have a multi-screen design with two 12.3-inch displays that are combined in a single continuous flat panel. One screen will be for a reconfigurable gauge cluster and the other will be the primary access point for features like climate control, radio and navigation. There's a third 5.0-inch display positioned between the two larger screens and it will give you access to climate controls. Wireless smart phone connectivity will be a standard feature with satellite radio and in-dash navigation expected to be available across the lineup.

Safety features

The 2025 Kia K4 will have standard safety features that include automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. Adaptive cruise control and a lane centering feature will be available safety upgrades. Meanwhile, we have new 2024 Kia Forte and Kia K5 sedans available in stock right now so you're invited to test drive either model at Kia of Dartmouth in Dartmouth, MA.
