Why Tire Rotations & Changes Matter
Tire treads are deep, especially on winter and snow tires, but over time they start to wear down as you commute time and time again from your Raynham home. To help them last longer, you'll want to make sure you get your tires rotated at our dealership. This helps them wear evenly and extend the length of ownership. This is especially important for all-season and summers tires that you use most of the time. For winter tires (and that includes studded tires) you probably don't need as frequent of tire rotations.
Even with regular rotations, you'll still need to get a new set of tires at some point. If you're looking for tire change service near you, stop into our Dartmouth service center. We can verify that your tire tread indicator is showing and get a new set of tires on. That way whether it's winter, summer, or raining out, you'll be able to drive around Bourne and beyond with confidence.
How to Check your Tire Pressure
You probably prefer to come into our service center for the tire rotations and changes, but you can easily check your tire pressure from your driveway. Properly inflated tires provide better traction and better fuel ratings, so get in the habit of checking them once a month.
- Buy a digital tire pressure gauge
- Take the pressure when the tires are "cold". This means they haven't been driven for at least three hours
- Insert the tip of the tire pressure monitor into the valve
